Drafting Supervisor supervises a team within an organization's computer-aided design (CAD) department. Plans, assigns, and reviews the work of drafters and other employees working on design projects. Being a Drafting Supervisor ensures deadlines, goals, and production standards for the department are met. Analyzes data and reviews drawings/plans to ensure quality of work and project feasibility. Additionally, Drafting Supervisor reviews project results and makes recommendations for improvement. Provides CAD technical support and develops solutions. The Drafting Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. LOCATION: Williamstown, MA
COMPENSATION: $1200-$1500 Weekly

The Williamstown Theatre Festival, renowned for its commitment to artistic excellence, is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Scenery Supervisor for the 2024 Season. As a department head within the production department, this position offers an exciting opportunity for an individual to lead and mentor a team of talented emerging designers who will take charge in designing for productions this summer.
Reporting to the Director of Production and Operations, the Scenery Supervisor will play a crucial role in shaping the visual aesthetic of our performances and ensuring the seamless execution of technical aspects related to scenic and props design. This position will begin remotely on a part-time basis on March 3rd.
