We are looking for a Mechanical Drafter with a background in mechanical engineering. Need the right person that we will mentor and work with our team of engineers in a supporting role this role will be highly versatile in scope with room for advancement. The candidate will work with our Senior staff to support our industrial customers e.g., Automotive, Appliance, Finishing Systems, etc.

The candidate will further assist in gathering pricing and quote preparation in addition to supporting manufacturing with drawing clarifications and corrections.

Some experience in 3d modeling is required. Experience with Inventor is a plus but not a requirement.

The candidate must be willing to grow and learn in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Draw engineering plans and designs on CAD software.
• Create 2D and 3D diagrams of mechanical objects that illustrate necessary design factors.
• Prepare drawings of existing objects that are to be maintained, repaired, or rebuilt.
• Use the computer to create engineering plans.
• Format drawings using the proper engineering format.
• Assist shop and vendors with design questions.
