Job Description: Green Tee Golf Inc. is a golf course construction company based in Augusta Georgia. We are looking for someone experienced in AutoCAD software to be based in Augusta, GA. This position will support construction projects primarily in the southeastern states, but also spanning across the US. Travel will be required at times.
An ideal candidate will have several years of AutoCAD experience in a professional setting, as well as experience with GPS or other forms of mapping/surveying equipment. Experience working in construction, engineering, or design-related fields would be preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work is both indoor and outdoor. Willingness to work outside on a construction site in various weather conditions, as well as in an office environment is required.
- GPS mapping equipment and surveying instruments will be used to document construction processes and record infrastructure as it is installed.
- Transfer of electronic data from mapping and surveying equipment into AutoCAD software.
- Process raw data in AutoCAD and produce organized files with correct layering and detailed information.
- Maintain an ongoing CAD-based record of construction.
- Provide weekly updates of data to include infrastructure quantities as well as feature construction information.
- Produce line work files that can be reviewed with supervisors and ultimately provided to the client as an ‘as-built’ record drawing.

- Strong organizational skills. Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
- Willingness to meet project deadlines and work extra hours when the job demands.
- Willingness to work as a team to accomplish goals as defined by supervisors and the client.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills on the job – this might include basic golf course construction methods or technologies such as GPS data collection and other surveying methods.
- Good computer skills including email and file management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Technology Requirements:
- Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD Software
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel)
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is preferred but not required
- Background in GPS mapping technologies and other conventional surveying is preferred but not required
Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent is expected
- Trade school certification in computer design, engineering, or construction is preferred but not required
- A college degree in a related field is preferred but not required
