Donor Research Coordinator, Sr. jobs in Alabama
Donor Research Coordinator, Sr. identifies potential donors and evaluates their interests and capacity to give to the organization. Conducts research and prospecting to locate individuals aligning with the organization's values and mission. Being a Donor Research Coordinator, Sr. analyzes data for trends and creates donor profiles to assist with donor development, stewardship, and direct communications and fundraising strategy. Uses a database or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain research data and donor records, execute mailing or e-mail campaigns, and create reports. Additionally, Donor Research Coordinator, Sr. maintains confidentiality and complies with data privacy regulations and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Donor Research Coordinator, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Job Description & Position Responsibilities:
Penta Research is seeking a qualified candidate to join a team performing software development in support of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program. Development will take place in an Agile environment. This position requires a skilled multidisciplined engineer or scientist who enjoys solving complex problems and thrives in a highly collaborative team environment. The candidate must have the ability to implement and test new code, assist with code design, debug problems with existing code, and contribute to software documentation.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 years of software development experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in engineering, computer science, or similar
- Experience with at least 2 of the following:
- C / C , Go, JavaScript, Python, Java, Ada
- Experience with object-orientation software design and development
- Familiarity with Visual Studio Code or other IDEs (Eclipse, Intellij, Netbeans, Visual Studio)
- Experience with Linux/Unix commands and environment
- Experience with Configuration Management Tools: (Gitlab, Git)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in a collaborative team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile Process Tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Candidates should have a basic understanding of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) and Ballistic Missile Defense Systems (BMDS).
- Experience with Redhat (RHEL) 7.x, 8.x.
- Experience with both SQL and NOSQL databases
- Experience with automated testing and continuous integration (CI) principles
- Technical report writing

- No travel required. Position location: Huntsville, AL.
