Develops and deploys standardized documentation methods and tools to efficiently produce high-quality content. Being a Documentation Manager establishes processes for effective document control. Plans and directs documentation projects and timelines. Additionally, Documentation Manager may act as final approver or editor for projects. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Documentation Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.     Job Title: Banking Documentation Representative
    Location: Riverside, RI- ONSITE
    Pay Rate: $19.90/hr on W2
    Duration: 6-month contract with extension

    Manager’s Notes:

    • With respect to the description, it’s not a management position per se but it is also not just data entry.
    • There are reviews of contracts for completeness, validation, and qualification of customer information, Indexing of documentation and validation of payment instructions that needs to be performed.
    • Yes, that data needs to be entered on a source system, but this is more managing the documentation from receipt to retention and ensuring that the High Risk payment information is validated and reviewed for completeness and accuracy which then gets entered.

    Description:

    • Responsible for operating data entry devices, such as a keyboard or computer, to verify and input data.

    Education/Experience:

    High School Diploma or GED required. 5 years related experience required.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
    • Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
    • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

    Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Read source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data in specific data fields or onto tapes or disks for subsequent entry, using keyboards or scanners.
    • Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered.
    • Locate and correct data entry errors or report them to supervisors.
    • Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors.
    • Maintain logs of activities and completed work.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Job Types: Temporary, Contract

    Pay: $19.90 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week
