Document Imaging Supervisor oversees personnel responsible for operating document imaging equipment for use in the creation of images or text. Document Imaging Supervisor, a level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Being a Document Imaging Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members.   • Position Summary
    The Medical Information Specialist ensures that medical record and hospital systems reflect the patient care provided at the medical center and outlying sites. The medical information specialist's primary responsibilities include ensuring the integrity of data in the electronic medical record, ensuring integrity of the enterprise master patient index (EMPI), and monitoring completion of medical information management activities. The Medical Information Specialist may also be responsible for ensuring full-time department coverage in the absence of a manager and serves as a senior level clerical person within their designated area.


    Required Qualifications

    One year experience (1000 hours course work or training) in customer service or communications, including analyzing & interpreting information; 6 mos. experience (600 hours training) in operation of computer and related peripheral equipment; 3 mos. experience (300 hrs course work) in information research & analysis. Additional Qualifications: Some positions require 3 mos. exp. (300 hrs course work) in supervision management; 3 mos. experience (300 hours course work) in interviewing.
