The Document Control Specialist is responsible for receiving, reviewing, tracing, accepting/rejecting FSQA documentation. Scope includes but is not limited to Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Regulatory Certifications, R&D, Document Management, Systems, off-line processes, and hard-copy methods. The position reports to the Senior FSQA Manager.

Job Duties:

• Revise, review, and write policies, standard operational procedures, one-point lessons, and product/packaging specifications for the different departments as needed, or at least once a year for the annual review process as required by regulatory requirements.
• Collect, maintain, and distribute controlled documents necessary to maintain conformance to specification and regulatory requirements.
• Review documents for completeness, store in designated systems, route as appropriate, and distribute within the established legal guidelines and internal standards to ensure the production of the highest quality products in the safest and most efficient manner.
• Work cross-functionally and interact extensively with Quality, Operations, Maintenance, and R&D.
• Ensure and maintain document accuracy, quality, integrity, and transparency.
• Manage and execute training to ensure adherence to the most current version of policies and procedures, including documentation.
• Conduct internal auditing of documentation to validate document control compliance.
• Complete Customer Questionnaires & Sales Requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
