General Description:
- Ensure all Quality system functional documents, policies & procedures are compliant with current document control practices.
- Ensure that obsolete documentation is removed from distribution.
- Provide document control support to authors and process owners in defining and producing Lean Quality System documents and records to ensure proper quality of the content of documentation and records.
- Review all documents and change requests to assure proper approvals, completeness, and accuracy per procedures.
- Execute document approval, control, release, archival, and obsolescence per the Quality Management System.
- Ensure distribution of all QMS controlled documentation necessary for manufacturing processes controls.
- Ensure documents are maintained and retained per established policies. Electronically, hard copy, etc.
- Manage the coordination of periodic document review and maintenance.
- Provide support for internal and external audits when needed.
- Complete all required training applicable to assigned position/job roles.
- Ability to work with all area managers and leads to resolve documentation processes.
- Ensure documentation reflects ISO standards and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager with ability to multi-task.
Work Experience:
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles (preferred but not necessary).
- Prior knowledge of ISO / OSHA / BWC.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Impeccable communication, presentation & organizational skills a must.
Education Requirement:
- High School Degree or some college preferred.
- Strong computer skills with focus on Excel and Word.
- Familiar with ISO 9001 / Manufacturing Industry (preferred).
Contingent upon passing a drug screen.
