Document Control Manager oversees document and record control operations, policies, and procedures for the secure management and access of company information assets. Establishes security protocols for the access, storage, backup, maintenance, reproduction, protection, and disposition of all documents. Being a Document Control Manager evaluates media formats and recommends storage requirements to protect and secure records/information. Develops and manages access and control procedures to comply with requirements for varying levels of security classifications specified by the governing authority. Additionally, Document Control Manager maintains auditing, monitoring, and change control systems to ensure document integrity, quality, and version control. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May require security clearance. Typically reports to a director. The Document Control Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Document Control Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Our vision is to make the earth green again by stopping and reversing desertification and soil degradation. Our product, Liquid Natural Clay, turns degraded land and sand into moisture retaining, fertile soil and, at the same time, reduces the water usage for agriculture, trees, and green ecosystems by up to 50 percent.

    WHO IS THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE?
    The ideal candidate thrives in a growing office environment. This role will require attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure the organization runs smoothly. Helping create and support a welcoming working environment is also a must.

    • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as a part of a team
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment

    Key personal attributes include: 
    • Associates degree or higher preferred
    • At least 5 years of full-time experience in an office management role
    • Willingness to work in a remote/office hybrid environment with most weekdays in our Yuma office from 8am to 5pm

    Specific responsibilities and key deliverables include:
    • Complete administrative tasks to ensure the organization runs smoothly.
    • Communicate with business managers, HR personnel, employees, and, in some cases, stakeholders and clients.
    • Coordinate and delegate general operations, making sure they are completed in accordance with existing policies and procedures.
    • Coordinate and execute purchasing orders.
    • Coordinate some shipping needs, both outbound and inbound.
    • Serve as a point of contact for employees and customers.
    • Ensure tasks are on schedule and deadlines are met.
    • Ensure the office is well-maintained, organized, and secure.
    • Lead efforts to ensure a safe and friendly work environment in the office
    • Assist with special projects such as process improvements.
    • Implement new policies and processes as the company grows.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned.
    • Position reports to the Managing Director.
