Patriot Erectors LLC. is growing. We are seeking a motivated Divisional Manager to join our dedicated team.
We are a Steel Fabrication Company that is experiencing exponential growth and we are seeking a Director of Project Management who can help us continue to achieve our growth targets. The role of the Director of Project Management is to oversee, manage, and direct all project and field-related activities for their respective division or geographical location. This includes prospect development, project execution, change management, and field activities. Additionally, the Director will provide direction, guidance, coaching, mentoring, and support for Estimating, Project Managers, and General Superintendents to achieve divisional and company objectives and goals. for safety initiatives and company goals related to safety.
Essential Functions:
- Support sales and estimating group in business and prospect development including review, input, and direction.
- Understanding of local and regional market including prospects, projects, and customers.
- Review and understanding of subcontracts and subcontract process including terms and conditions and scope of work.
- Support and promote client retention through excellence in customer service and project execution.
- Oversee project execution through project management team including detailing, fabrication, and field execution.
- Support local fabrication shop with labor, equipment, and other resource needs.
- Oversee, manage, and guide project management team with change management.
- Support field erection team with labor, equipment, and other resource needs.
- Monitor project, operational, and field performance and financial metrics including developing mitigation or action plans in response.
- Manage all aspects of the Project Management and Field Erection team including compensation, hiring, training, mentoring, professional development and holding team accountable engaging human resources when appropriate.
- Report on project performance on a regular basis.
- Identify and work with new prospects and assist sales with cultivating leads.
Essential Duties (other duties may be assigned):
- Contact current and prospective customers/clients to present information, confirm status on existing projects, and explain available services.
- Sell services to owners, architects, specialty subs and others in construction/steel fab industry in designated market region(s).
- Develop prospects from current customers, referral leads, and sales and/or trade meetings.
- Make presentations to targeted groups to attract new clients.
- Participate in various networking groups to facilitate customer interfaces.
- Evaluate costs and revenue of agreements to determine continued profitability.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 15 (or more) years’ operational or project execution experience in the commercial steel industry.
- 10 years’ experience as a collaborative leader.
- Solid understanding of, and experience with project execution, change management, and customer service in the construction industry.
- Experience with managing local or regional Profit & Loss and understanding of basic finance and accounting principles.
