Divisional Merchandising Manager directs and develops merchandising plans and operational systems to achieve financial objectives. Utilizes sales, research, and trend analytics to develop strategies for merchandise categories and optimize product assortments. Being a Divisional Merchandising Manager develops merchandise plans and pricing that support key strategic initiatives, launches, top sellers, seasonal campaigns, and trends. Partners across functions to manage vendor relationships, identify new vendors, and negotiate favorable contract terms. Additionally, Divisional Merchandising Manager requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, merchandising, business or other related field. Typically reports to top management. The Divisional Merchandising Manager manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Divisional Controller

  • Major Function

    Directs the Production company's financial affairs for a division of manufacturing sites in the US. Prepares financial analysis of operations, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance of management. This role is decision support and will require working closely with the entire sales and production teams, with conjunction of the Site Director. This position will also partner closely with the US Head of Business Finance and Shared Services Controller.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for supporting a manufacturing business unit with annual sales of $60M.
    • Manage the Finance department including costing, AR, AP, closings, internal controls, and internal reporting.
    • Analyze growth opportunities and coordinate external audits.
    • Key business partner working closely with Division leaders.
    • Responsible for local financial analysis.
    • Responsible for division forecasting and budgeting activities.
    • Will have responsibility in supervision of accounting team.
    • Responsible for analysis related to investments and business case development.
    • Review, analyze and interpret results of all Financial Statements and make specific recommendations to management which will result on cost reductions, productivity increases, and/or profit management.
    • Keep senior management informed of the production company's performance and provide advice on all financial matters.
    • Active role in Global manufacturing business finance team.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting required; Master's degree, CPA, or CMA strongly preferred.

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in positions leading to a Financial Controller or Finance Director, preferably in a manufacturing environment. A strong understanding of production, standards, and routings.

    COMPUTER SKILLS:

    • Proficiency in use of MS (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
    • Working knowledge of ERP systems, such as Sage and Great Plans, SAP
    • Power BI knowledge a major plus
    • Knowledge of OneStream
    • Capability to learn new software
