Division Budget Manager directs and controls the budget and financial forecasting activities for a division, product, or business line. Leads the budgeting process for annual, quarterly, and monthly budget development. Being a Division Budget Manager develops budgetary policies and guidelines to optimize the budget. Incorporates past financial results into budget development. Additionally, Division Budget Manager monitors and analyzes performance against budgets. Implements tools and reporting used for planning, forecasting, monitoring, and decision support. May require a MBA. Typically reports to a director. The Division Budget Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Division Budget Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Summary of Role  
    Full-time position with mixed duties split between helping consultant’s close open quotes, overseeing showroom, networking with connectors, and planning and representing our company at multiple marketing events.
     
    Responsibilities
    • Networking with builders, designers, realtors, and other connectors to build and maintain solid referral lead flow. 
    • Represent, plan, host networking events.
    • Assist marketing manager with local marketing.
    • Plan and coordinate coverage for home shows and other trade shows.
    • Consistently follow up with open quotes and past customers to close sales.
    • Assist sales consultants coordinating with both vendors and customers.
    • Oversee showroom including displays, samples, and coordinating coverage and training of team.
    • Administrative help with office.  
    • Assist with streamlining back-end operations. 
    • Assist in other office and showroom duties including interacting with customers and vendors.
    • Help establish and enforce brand standards across all areas of the business. 
     Qualifications

    • Organizational and detail oriented skills.
    • Friendly, courteous, and pleasant with all types of people.
    • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as work well with co-workers and management. 
    • Appropriate level of administrative experience and skills. 
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Punctual and dependable.
    • Must be a TEAM player.
    • A passion or interest for window coverings and design is an added bonus.
    Physical Requirements
    • Able to stand, kneel, bend at knees, squat throughout the day. 
    • Able to sit at a desk comfortably while working on a computer, for extended periods of time. 
    • Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. 
    • Able to assist covering office / showroom including occasional Saturdays (very minimal; generally only a few times a year).
    Compensation / Additional Considerations
    • Salary range $19.00 to $25.00 depending on experience. 
    • Additional 3% IRA match available.
    • Work location is at our office; we do not offer remote work.   
    • We currently do not offer health benefits.  We do partner with an independent insurance broker that has helped our team get excellent insurance at competitive rates.  Please do not apply if health benefits are a primary requirement for your employment.
