Distribution Manager manages and deploys the operational strategy, business processes, and systems for overall distribution operations, including order fulfillment, warehousing, inventory management, and transportation. Communicates and monitors production measurement metrics and sets performance targets at the team and individual level for all distribution-related functions that align with company objectives and are within regulatory guidelines. Being a Distribution Manager utilizes data-driven analytical tools and systems to continuously monitor operations, identify inefficiencies, and develop optimization strategies. Troubleshoots and resolves escalated operational issues. Additionally, Distribution Manager ensures all operations adhere to industry safety protocols and comply with OSHA, DOT, or other governmental regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Distribution Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Distribution Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the General Manager. He or she is also responsible to meet and/or exceed performance goals according to corporate objectives. These objectives include developing and training hourly team members.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Ensures a pleasant experience for all customers, responds to customer complaints or inquiries.
    • Ensures orders meet and exceed customers’ satisfaction.
    • Assists with supervising the day-to-day task assignment and performance of team members.
    • Assists with the management of all matters relating to team members – training and coaching.
    • Assists with planning and preparing work schedules and coordinates daily assignments and activities of team members.
    • Adheres to all city, county, and state regulations.
    • Ensures execution of established safety, security, quality, and store operations policies, procedures and practices.
    • Ensures standards on food preparation and handling.
    • Prepares daily deposit.
    • Completes daily paperwork and other reports.
    • Conducts periodic inventories.
    • Maintains a clean restaurant at all times.
    • Ensures profitability.
    • All situations must be avoided that may create a conflict of interest including outside employment in a similar business.
    • All duties must be performed in a manner that is free from unlawful harassment.
    • The Assistant Manager will be able and willing to perform all duties of a typical restaurant team member.

    • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
