Distribution Director manages and deploys the operational strategy, business processes, and systems for overall distribution operations, including order fulfillment, warehousing, inventory management, and transportation. Communicates and monitors production measurement metrics and sets performance targets at the team and individual level for all distribution-related functions that align with company objectives and are within regulatory guidelines. Being a Distribution Director utilizes data-driven analytical tools and systems to continuously monitor operations, identify inefficiencies, and develop optimization strategies. Troubleshoots and resolves escalated operational issues. Additionally, Distribution Director ensures all operations adhere to industry safety protocols and comply with OSHA, DOT, or other governmental regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. The Doctors Company Business Development team has an opportunity for an a Director of Digital Distribution and Program Management. This is a hybrid opportunity at one of The Doctors' Company's offices, such as Napa, CA, East Lansing, MI, Austin, TX or Jacksonville, FL.
Position Mission:
Under the direction of the SVP, Business Development, manage the growth of the company’s digital distribution channel for allied health care professionals, dentists, and other clinical segments (to be developed) to achieve revenue targets. With Marketing, develop/ apply deep understanding of consumer/ clinician behavior to improve the relevancy of marketing strategies, champion innovative campaign design, and optimize product and digital presence with consumers and agents/brokers to generate sales. With Underwriting/ Actuarial, optimize product features and pricing. Oversee advisory boards to align offering with consumer needs. Concurrent with Digital Distribution responsibilities, manage national program endorsements, professional liability insurance committees, and annual conference meetings and exhibitions. Position includes oversight and monitoring of regional programs / sponsorships and compliance to program standards and facilitation of quarterly Program Review Committee meetings. Frequent out-of-state travel is required.
