Distribution Clerk, Sr. performs a variety of clerical, customer service, and administrative duties to support operations of a distribution center. Monitors inventory levels to ensure sufficient levels are available to fulfill all orders. Being a Distribution Clerk, Sr. ensures that all required paperwork, including labels, packing lists, and transport instructions, is prepared. Utilizes tracking systems to input or look up information. Additionally, Distribution Clerk, Sr. complies with all OSHA and other regulations, policies, safety procedures, and documentation requirements. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Distribution Clerk, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Overview:Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the incumbent is responsible for processing and delivers requisitions submitted to the Warehouse.Responsibilities:
- Receives, counts and stores all materials assigned to Warehouse.
- Marks, prices and stocks all items in proper locations.
- Checks all materials received for possible damage, leakage or theft.
- Rotates stock to maintain integrity of all products; maintains constant check on temperatures of freezers and chill boxes.
- Takes inventory of material stored in all Warehouses.
- Maintains inventory locations for all Warehouse items.
- Keeps all areas of Warehouse clean and free of safety hazards.
- Properly completes all Warehouse paperwork.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent, as well as a minimum of six (6) months of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Must be able to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, reach lifts and other equipment used in Warehouse operations.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:- The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
