Position Summary:
The Driver/Distribution Clerk is responsible for effectively and efficiently picking, packing, and delivering merchandise to customers' business establishment in a timely and safe manner.
Position’s Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for driving delivery trucks in an efficient and safe manner. Deliver the company’s products over established routes or within an established territory.
Load and unload merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds at the customer’s place of business.
Develop and maintain effective relationships between the Company and the customer.
Operate company vehicle in a safe manner by applying knowledge and skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speeds in difficult situations such as heavy traffic, inclement weather, or in tight loading dock areas.
Perform pre-trip, in-route and post-trip inspections on equipment. Ensure equipment defects are reported immediately.
Keep truck interior clean and orderly.
Promptly report all accidents involving driver or company equipment and any delays due to any irregularities relating to pick-up or delivery of freight, breakdowns, weather, traffic conditions, or other emergencies.
Have customers sign receipts for goods and receive payment for the merchandise if there is a cash-on-delivery arrangement.
Turn in receipts, payments, records of deliveries made, and any reports on mechanical problems with assigned truck(s).

Starting at $21.07/hr., Depending on Experience.
Position Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or its equivalent.
Must have a valid and clean driver’s license; Class B license is a plus.
Must maintain an alcohol-free and drug-free status.
Certified in operating forklift, electric/manual pallet jack.
Proficient in Microsoft office and basic computer functionality.
Knowledge of the city and or state highways is preferred.
Excellent customer service.
Basic math skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
