Distribution Clerk, Sr. jobs in Peoria, IL
Distribution Clerk, Sr. performs a variety of clerical, customer service, and administrative duties to support operations of a distribution center. Monitors inventory levels to ensure sufficient levels are available to fulfill all orders. Being a Distribution Clerk, Sr. ensures that all required paperwork, including labels, packing lists, and transport instructions, is prepared. Utilizes tracking systems to input or look up information. Additionally, Distribution Clerk, Sr. complies with all OSHA and other regulations, policies, safety procedures, and documentation requirements. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Distribution Clerk, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. POSITION SUMMARY : Assists in shipping and receiving parts, and in bulk oil operations and delivery. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned from time to time : 1.
Load / Unload freight trucks and daily shuttles. 2.
Sort multi-site orders. 3.
Assist in shipping and receiving and other bulk oil operations as requested. 4.
Package Bulk oil products. 5.
Keep PDC Manager informed of daily progress and accomplishments. 6.
Keep PDC clean and organized. 7.
Deliver and transport oil, parts, and supplies for the company and its customers. 8.
Maintain record of all deliveries including required signatures. 9.
Ensure customers satisfaction prior to completing delivery. 10.
Assist with maintenance of department vehicles, keeping them in good, clean, working condition and notifies supervisor of needed maintenance. 11.
Maintain a safe working environment and always adhere to company safety program. 12.
Perform other duties as assigned. Customer Service Responsibilities :

- Resolve customers concerns efficiently and effectively.
- Promote a positive attitude at all times.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
