We are looking for an entry-level Shipping/Receiving Clerk to perform various responsibilities as instructed by the Warehouse Manager. You will be the point person for managing inventory, picking orders, and verifying correct documentation for sterilization shipments. You will take instruction from the Warehouse Manager on priority duties on a day-to-day basis. You will also need to be self-motivated to load/unload incoming trucks in accordance to current demand. This role is essential to the Warehouse team, needing a candidate that is highly organized and teamwork oriented.
The area of responsibility for this role is wide and thus requires knowledge of various warehouse processes. The ideal candidate must be competent and able to perform many types of warehouse duties. He/She will be called upon to organize and manage their time efficiently with/without instruction and will need to have problem solving capabilities.
Essential Functions:
- Pick and prepare warehouse orders in accordance to priority order as instructed by Warehouse Manager
- Prepare pallets for shipping
- Perform final check on Sterilization shipments to ensure all boxes are labeled correctly and according to paperwork requirements
- Load/Unload truckload shipments to and from Sterilization
- Rotate stock according to lot number
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or pick documents
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Complete tasks as requested by Warehouse Manager (Picking, labeling, organization, cleaning, restock)
- Process shipping documents on need be/requested basis
- High school diploma
