Responsibilities:
Receiving:
Receive incoming shipments of goods and materials.
Verify the accuracy of received items against purchase orders and packing lists.
Inspect and report any damaged or defective items to warehouse supervisors.
Order Picking:
Utilize picking lists or electronic scanning devices to locate and retrieve items from designated storage areas.
Ensure accurate picking of items according to customer orders and specifications.
Prepare orders for packing and shipping in a timely manner.
Packing:
Pack items securely and appropriately for safe transportation and delivery.
Label packages with shipping information, customer details, and other relevant data.
Follow packaging guidelines and quality standards to prevent damage during transit.
Shipping:
Prepare shipping documents, including labels, packing slips, and bills of lading.
Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
Load outgoing shipments onto delivery trucks or arrange for courier services as needed.
Inventory Management:
Perform cycle counts and inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels.
