Distribution Clerk jobs in Queens Village, NY

This warehouse worker position consists of picking and preparing orders onto pallets that will be delivered to numerous restaurants. The applicant will assist with the following daily tasks:

• Pick / prep merchandise for shipping
• efficiently stack orders onto pallet and verify weight of boxes (as needed)
• DOUBLE CHECKING ORDERS and Sign off the paper before order goes out for delivery.
• MAINTAINING A CLEAN AND SAFE WAREHOUSE ENVIRONMENT AT ALL TIMES

Some other tasks (not daily) include:

• Warehouse inventory count
• Warehouse maintenance, upkeep, & administrative tasks as needed

In general, we are looking for team members who:

• Are very energetic but able to focus
• Have a strong work ethic and take pride in their work
• Are able to demonstrate basic computer knowledge
• Have a high level of attention to detail
• Have a history of reliability & punctuality
• Have at least some computer skills
• Have the exuberance to voice questions or concerns

Receiving experience a plus, but not necessary
Forklift License a plus, but not necessary
Hours are generally MON-SAT 12 am -12 pm. BUT APPLICANTS HOURS ARE 12 am to 8 am.
