Being a Distribution Clerk ensures that all required paperwork, including labels, packing lists, and transport instructions, is prepared. Utilizes tracking systems to input or look up information. Additionally, Distribution Clerk complies with all OSHA and other regulations, policies, safety procedures, and documentation requirements. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Distribution Clerk works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. The Position : The Billing Analyst, reporting to the Revenue Recognition Manager, will be responsible for the timely and accurate invoicing of Barrett Distribution Centers’ customers.
The Billing Analyst will provide continuous improvement of the invoicing process by help developing and utilizing the reporting tools available.
Perform daily billing audits using tools provided to ensure accurate invoicesPerform root cause analysis on rate variances / invoice discrepancies and report discoveries to the appropriate management.
Works directly with facility leadership and corporate departments to facilitate continuous improvementReview UOM reports to set cadence and work with facilities when corrections are necessary.
Audit Facility VAS Tracker and back up to ensure all VAS billing is entered and billed accuratelyDevelop new processes and billing templates to improve efficiency and accuracy of BillingDocument and maintain new and existing billing procedures to include client specific work instructionsSupply Facility GM / OM with weekly / monthly revenue updates for approvalParticipate in training of facility level billing resourcesEnsure the distribution of invoices through customer emails or portalsRespond to customer inquiries related to invoices charges or provide a conduit to operational questions.
Perform other related duties as assignedMinimal travel required between various Barrett facilitiesWhat You'll Bring to the Table : 1-2 years of related business, billing and / or finance experience strongly preferredExperience in warehousing, supply chain, logistics preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft applications.Must demonstrate the ability for critical thinking, removing obstacles and driving results.
Use sound judgement and business acumen to accurately analyze information and make solid recommendationsExperience must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and the ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
