Distribution Clerk performs a variety of clerical, customer service, and administrative duties to support operations of a distribution center. Monitors inventory levels to ensure sufficient levels are available to fulfill all orders. Being a Distribution Clerk ensures that all required paperwork, including labels, packing lists, and transport instructions, is prepared. Utilizes tracking systems to input or look up information. Additionally, Distribution Clerk complies with all OSHA and other regulations, policies, safety procedures, and documentation requirements. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Distribution Clerk works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. JOB OVERVIEW
· Any labor required to locate and transport lumber and other materials.
· This is a full-time position.
· Generally, days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. including some Saturdays. The schedule and hours are subject to change. Weekly work schedules are shared in advance.
· This position is paid hourly and eligible for overtime pay.
· No travel is expected for this position.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Identify, pull pieces and bundle lumber and non-lumber items.
2. Package all items as needed following the order notes.
3. Secure and optimize loads to ensure efficiency while adhering to production schedules.
4. Transport correct lumber and non-lumber to the correct location.
5. Ability to maintain paper and digital records of all materials handled.
6. Meeting production goals as set by the Lead and Management team.
7. Safely operate all machines in accordance with UTD, OSHA, and specific product procedures and recommendations.
8. Personally, being on time and in compliance with the Company playbook.
9. Wearing proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in designated areas.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
1. May require prolonged sitting, driving, and forklift vibration.
2. Must be able to properly handle wood which may require standing, balancing, stooping, crouching, bending, walking, and lifting for prolonged periods of time.
3. Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions; heat, cold, rain, snow, humidity; fumes, and airborne particles for prolonged periods of time.
4. Must be able to lift/carry 40 pounds or more.
