Distribution Center Supervisor supervises daily planning, organizing, and operations of a distribution center. Oversees one or more of the distribution center functions, including order processing, picking, packaging, shipping, and receiving. Being a Distribution Center Supervisor monitors inventory levels to ensure sufficient levels to fulfill all orders. Balances workloads as needed to achieve production and delivery goals for each shift. Additionally, Distribution Center Supervisor utilizes software, data, and analytics to optimize operations, track production metrics, and anticipate and resolve problems. Provides the necessary equipment, tools, and training to staff to ensure safe, secure, and efficient operations. Complies with all OSHA and other regulations, policies, safety procedures, and documentation requirements. Typically requires an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Distribution Center Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Distribution Center Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Summary: The Delivery Logistics Coordinator is a values-based leader that will lead the Logistics Specialists and Delivery Drivers to maintain or exceed established service levels and first-class customer support. This position has oversight responsibility for the team that schedules delivery logistics from any FHI facility utilizing internal truck fleet or 3rd party carriers; organizes delivery drivers, routes, and schedules to expedite delivery of customer orders, distribution transfers and resolves delivery-related issues. The Delivery Logistics Coordinator will evaluate and implement improvements to current internal and external distribution methods and systems to coordinate efficient and effective delivery of orders to various customer locations and/or to store locations.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). College coursework in Retail or Business Management is desirable.
Experience: 5-7 years of Supervisory experience in managing, developing and growing teams in multiple locations. Minimum of 4 years’ experience managing complex delivery scheduling, utilizing logistics software, with previous experience in distribution, customer deliveries, and warehousing.
Licenses and Certification: Valid California Class C driver’s license.

This position is expected to spend the majority of their time on-site in retail locations to provide oversight for direct report and partnering with store teams to ensure seamless execution of deliveries and logistics.
