Distribution Center Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY

Join our team as a Distribution Center Supervisor, a pivotal role reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager at our cutting-edge facility in St. Louis. As the overseer of outbound, inbound, or returns operations, you'll navigate a high-tech landscape, leveraging robotic goods-to-person systems. Your mandate: ensure a safe, orderly, and efficient workplace. With a Monday through Thursday schedule from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, you'll lead your team in maintaining top-tier standards and contributing to the dynamic growth of our facility.

Your responsibilities span from championing safety and cleanliness to driving operational excellence. Lead your team with finesse, actively participating in SOP development, and fostering continuous improvement initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Champion a culture of safety by prioritizing and maintaining a meticulously clean and organized work environment as the topmost responsibility.

• Drive operational excellence by consistently managing and enhancing the designated area to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

• Lead and inspire your team or staff by providing clear direction, actively monitoring performance, and delivering constructive daily feedback to foster a high-performing workforce.

• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of warehouse operations by participating in the development and enhancement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while ensuring comprehensive staff training.

• Foster innovation by generating improvement ideas for the warehouse team and taking an active role in implementing enhancements to elevate overall performance.

• Streamline administrative processes by efficiently approving timecards and managing time-off requests through the PayCom system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Utilize hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to optimize technological tools for efficient warehouse operations.

• Demonstrate strong leadership skills by fostering cross-functional collaboration, effective communication, and cooperation within the team. Showcase your leadership track record with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership role, demonstrating your ability to guide and mentor a team to success.

• Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clarity and precision in professional interactions.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, establishing a foundational academic background.

• Bring a minimum of 3 years of practical experience in warehouse or material handling operations, showcasing industry best practices.
