Distribution Center Manager jobs in Oregon City, OR

With more than 500 service centers, 9 strategic distribution centers, and almost 6,000 employee associates across North America, Applied Industrial Technologies stocks 4 million part numbers to supply our customers with all of their hydraulic, pneumatic, bearing, and other industrial MRO and OEM parts needs. We are seeking a motivated Office Manager that would be responsible for site leadership with emphasis on customer service support for a high volume order fulfillment center to include daily direction of personnel teams, budgets & activities to meet P&L targets and performance metrics.

Responsibilities:

• Communicates with customers in a clear, concise, timely and professional manner and follows up as necessary; is always professional and represents the organization positively.
• Provide site leader support for entire distribution center operations while ensuring KPI's are achieved by using Lean focused efforts.
• Champions safe behaviors; actively participates in all safety initiatives
• Reduce complexity; drive standardization in our data and processes; deliver on customer expectations; eliminate downtime.
• Maintain accurate, complete and timely records of business transactions.
• Access to assets within area of responsibility is permitted only in accordance with general or specific authorization.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years business, Lean and or customer service experience
• Persuasive communicator / strong facilitator / structured and logical thinker
• Solid computer skills: Excel, Power Point, Access, etc.
• WMS experience preferred
• Lean background preferred
• SAP experience preferred
• Ability to challenge the status quo
• Self-directed, proven leader
