    Directs the AU Teaching and Learning Center. Responsible for the day-to-day management of a center with a mix of government and variable-term contract employees. In consultation with AU leadership, develops the Center mission and supervises its operation, assuring that AUTLC activities are consonant with AU and Air Force objectives. Coordinates with the Chief of Faculty Relations and school/college deans to plan Center activities, focusing on the gathering, creating, and executing developmental learning resources, lessons, and events to improve the performance of AU faculty, students, and partners. Exercises supervisory personnel-management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Identifies and creates developmental learning resources. Identifies and creates developmental learning resources. Keeps abreast of developments in educational theory, educational technology, learning methods and communication-support applications and incorporate appropriate developments into TC resources, lessons, and events/workshops. Collaborates with other agencies and learning professionals to maintain understanding of innovative learning methods and improve operations.
