Dispatcher, Sr. jobs in Wisconsin
Dispatcher, Sr. coordinates drivers and vehicles to convey freight or passengers to assigned destinations in a timely and efficient manner. Maintains contact with drivers to communicate updates, delays, or special instructions and relay delivery status to customers. Being a Dispatcher, Sr. records driver assignments, delivery time, and other transportation data in a computer database to track metrics. Ensures drivers are compliant with all DOT, state, local, and company regulations. Additionally, Dispatcher, Sr. requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Dispatcher, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Coach USA, a leader in the motor coach industry, is looking for a 3AM part-time dispatcher, that will include weekend shifts. The ideal candidate must like challenges and are able to work well with people, this may be the job for you. This position is responsible for assigning drivers, issuing assignments and dispatching vehicles in accordance with pre-published schedules/charters and on-demand requests.
**Must be able to attain a Commercial Drivers’ License. **

- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to solve practical problems
- Ability to maintain employee morale and loyalty with a diverse workforce
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent people skills and communication skills
- Commercial Driver’s License preferred with “P” and Air Brake endorsement or must qualify for this certification
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
