About the Role

As a dispatcher you will be responsible for scheduling on-time, complete deliveries of building materials. Communicate with department to ensure accurate, timely, and cost-effective deliveries of trim and door products to customer job sites.

Day-to-day responsibilities

Contacts customers as required to confirm correct delivery times
Coordinate delivery routes for drivers to maximize route efficiencies for deliveries
Ensures drivers have all necessary information and customers get correct paperwork
Inputs sales and work orders as required
Monitors maintenance and inspection of vehicles as directed
Answers most incoming phone calls to department

Skills we are looking for

Exceptional knowledge of Omaha and surrounding areas
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of building materials helpful
Basic computer skills

Requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older

Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
