Job Description: Dispatcher

Classification: Fulltime, Exempt

Work Location: Medina, OH

Compensation: Base Salary

Experience: 6 months – 1 year in Warehouse, Dispatch Operations, or Logistics (preferred, but not required)

What will you be doing?

• Manage daily orders for shipping and receiving.
• Data entry into our dispatch system.
• Make appointments and ensure they are met.
• Provide excellent customer service to our shipping partners.
• Stay in contact with drivers and dispatchers to ensure deadlines are met.
• Negotiate rates and contracts for services.
• Develop positive relationships with carrier partners.
• Maintain a professional manner in a dynamic workplace.
• Work well in a team environment, while meeting personal goals.

Qualifications:

• You need excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate and present information to management, teammates, and customers.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Basic computer and internet knowledge.
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude.
• You should be available for some weekends and evening hours.
• Ability to accept and utilize coaching.
