Role Summary: The Dispatcher plays a pivotal role in efficiently scheduling and monitoring all deliveries from the Huntsville Yard, including Longhaul drivers. This position is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while upholding exceptional customer service standards.

Schedule all deliveries at least one day in advance (2 days for box trucks)
Mapping of all deliveries to ensure the most efficient routes
Ensure that all trucks are loaded to capacity
Ensure that all trucks are delivered on time and in full
Call customers in advance if necessary
Take Sales calls to schedule deliveries
Manage and schedule 2 Longhaul delivery drivers
Print and sort all paperwork for Pullers and Loadmasters to be given to the Delivery Supervisor
Identify scheduling conflicts and finding solutions
Coordinate/set up local commercial deliveries
Coordinate with Delivery Supervisor on reload pick ups
Process reload tickets
Schedule credit pick ups
Process Pos from Madison Lumber
Set up fuel PIN numbers for new drivers
Run weekly/monthly fuel reports
Write call off orders
Print layouts for EWP packages and put packets together
Communicate and schedule longer EWP with Truss Plants
Provide excellent customer service
Communicate to Sales when there is an issue at a jobsite, and find a resolution
Promote and teach the Core Values of Wilson Lumber

2 years delivery and supervisory experience
Physical Requirements:
Dispatcher must be able to lift up to 100lbs when necessary
