Insurance Account Manager
OneSource Brokerage, a Birmingham based insurance brokerage general agency (BGA) specializing in disability and long-term care insurance, is looking for a full-time Account Manager to act as a liaison between our financial advisors, partner agencies, and the insurance companies we represent.
The Account Manager will work with our advisors and insurance company partners in all aspects of the sales and implementation process for the disability and long-term care insurance solutions we support. The ideal candidate is a hard-working professional who will prioritize maintaining client relationships through excellent and detailed customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
·Perform all tasks under the guiding philosophy of providing outstanding service to our clients
·Case Design & Sales Support: You will support our advisors in all aspects of the sales process including Answer incoming communications in a timely manner, providing professional sales-oriented information (product information, illustrations, forms and marketing materials).
·Subject Matter Expert: You will develop the ability to understand and maintain knowledge of insurance operations, products, and concepts with the ability to apply marketing strategies and systems.
·Facilitating Case Movement: Your role is pivotal in insuring that insurance cases move efficiently through the underwriting process. You will actively coordinate with underwriters, medical professionals, contracting and licensing departments, and other relevant parties to facilitate timely decisions on applications.
·Take the Initiative: Our role is not merely to act as a go between. You will actively find ways to overcome obstacles, objections, and work to solve issues without having to burden our advisors with additional requirements. We serve them.
·Approval Focus: Above all, you will be dedicated to being the driving force behind the approval of insurance cases. Your attention to detail, proactive approach, and dedication to our advisors’ success will be instrumental in helping clients secure the coverage they need.

·Extensive knowledge about Individual Disability insurance products
·Experience working with BGA’s, IMO’s, and Insurance Carriers
