    Overview: The Commercial Lines Account Manager plays a pivotal role in marketing new business opportunities and maintaining and servicing existing accounts. This position is responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring accurate policy management, addressing client inquiries, and actively participating in business development efforts.

    This is an in-office position reporting to our location in Las Vegas, Nevada.

    Primary Job Responsibilities:

    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Offer proactive guidance and recommendations to clients regarding potential coverage gaps, policy enhancements, risk management, and cost-saving strategies to meet their evolving insurance needs.
    • Develop comprehensive and tailored insurance proposals for prospective clients, outlining coverage options, terms, and pricing based on their specific needs and requirements.
    • Present and explain insurance quotes to clients, both for new business opportunities and policy renewals, highlighting the benefits, terms, and conditions of the proposed coverage options.
    • Prepare and issue insurance certificates as required by clients, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of documentation.
    • Process policy endorsements and modifications based on client requests or changes in coverage needs, ensuring policy accuracy and compliance.
    • Respond to client emails and phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries, providing guidance, and offering expert advice to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
    • Address client questions, concerns, and issues related to insurance policies, coverages, claims, and billing, providing clear explanations and guidance.
    • Engage in marketing efforts to identify new business opportunities, including prospecting potential clients, attending industry events, and networking to expand the agency's client base.
    • Review insurance contracts and policy documents to ensure accuracy, compliance with regulatory requirements, and alignment with client expectations.
    • Collaborate with accounting department in the billing processes, which includes generating invoices, verifying premium calculations, and resolving billing discrepancies.
    • Supports and assists others in the audit process.

    Requirements:

    Skills and Abilities

    • Possess a comprehensive knowledge of commercial and personal lines insurance products, coverages, policies, and procedures.
    • Provide empathetic and supportive assistance to clients and employees by being responsive to client needs and proactively seeking opportunities to enhance the client experience.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment, sharing insights and contributing to collective success.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information clearly and transparently.
    • Detailed-oriented and organized with excellent project management abilities.
    • Strong critical thinking skills to analyze complex scenarios and develop solutions for clients.
    • Familiarity and proficiency in using relevant software applications, including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other tools used for client management and communication.
    • Commitment to staying updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
    • Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and client information.

    Education and Experience

    Required:

    • 1 or more years of experience in an administrative, account management, or related position.
    • Associate Degree in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing, or a similar field
    • Nevada Property & Casualty Insurance License

    Preferred:

    • Experience in the property and casualty insurance industry, specifically in commercial lines account management
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing, or a similar field
    • Insurance designations such as CIC, AU, CPCU, etc.
