Develops marketing programs and strategies to increase profitability and enter new markets. Being a Discount Brokerage Department Manager monitors transactions for accuracy and ensures satisfactory customer service. May interact with the organization's full-service brokers as needed. Additionally, Discount Brokerage Department Manager ensures compliance with any applicable regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Requires NASD Series 7 license. Typically reports to a director. The Discount Brokerage Department Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Job Description and DutiesUnder the direction of the Warden, The Community Resources Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing community-related areas and resources to meet institutional and inmate program needs. The Community Resources Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the Community Partnership Program between the correctional institution, local community and special interest groups.
**Various methods of appointments may be considered, unless specified in this advertisement. Training and Development assignments may be considered based on the availability of eligible candidates and are subject to approval by the Hiring Authority prior to appointment. Training and Development assignments are considered limited term, 12 months, and may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.**

Candidates new to CDCR or the Division of Juvenile Justice are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by departmental annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation.
