Disaster Recovery Manager manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption. Being an Disaster Recovery Manager monitors and tests the plans and back up systems. Manages the contracts with required vendors for off-site and other resources required for business continuation and recovery. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Manager develops and deploys training, documentation, and communication of disaster procedures to the organization. Develops service level recovery standards and agreements with vendors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Disaster Recovery Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Summary/objective
The packing and mover technician will work in conjunction with other emergency service technicians. This position provides packing and moving services resulting from water, mold, fire, and smoke damage of customers' homes or businesses.
Essential Functions:
● Under the guidance of the Project Manager we need to ensure that the property is treated with respect and all personnel on the job site are adhering to company policies and procedures.
● Photograph all pre-existing conditions before wrapping or boxing the items.
● Have a working knowledge of how to properly wrap furniture and secure them into our box truck.
● Have a working knowledge of how to wrap items before placing them into boxes and securing them into our box truck.
● Make a positive impression with the customers we are working for.
● Maintain the professional appearance of the company vehicle you drive. The company vehicle must be clean, organized, adequately stocked, and properly maintained.
● Adhere to material safety data and recognize standards.
● Main functions will include performing tasks related to lifting and moving furniture, boxes, and other household items.
● This position will require you to use a variety of equipment to help make your job more efficient.
Job Requirements:
● Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
● Good communication skills
● Task and detailed oriented
● Self-motivated and highly organized
● Ability to perform physically demanding work on a consistent basis.
● Valid Driver’s License and a good driving record maintained.
● Satisfactory background check
Working Conditions:
● Exposure to soot, mold, and fire carcinogens at times.
● Working conditions are normal for a construction environment but may include hazardous locations that require strict adherence to the company safety manual. Work requires local travel and may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
Physical demands:
● The employee is frequently required to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
● Required to drive up to 80-mile radius from office to clients' homes and company facilities.
● Employees may be required to climb a ladder.
