Disaster Recovery Manager manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption. Being an Disaster Recovery Manager monitors and tests the plans and back up systems. Manages the contracts with required vendors for off-site and other resources required for business continuation and recovery. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Manager develops and deploys training, documentation, and communication of disaster procedures to the organization. Develops service level recovery standards and agreements with vendors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Disaster Recovery Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Disaster Recovery Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

    • Daily supervision and on-site administrative responsibility for the overall operation 
    • Ensure that the operation follows current heightened monitoring plans, if applicable 
    • Oversee staffing patterns to ensure supervision and the provision of services
    • Assign tasks to direct care technicians that do not conflict or interfere with responsibilities 
    • Administer and manage the operation according to policies and procedures 
    • Ensure that the operation follows The Joint Commission standards 
    • Ensure completion of the Monthly Quality (compliance) Checklist 
    • Ensure persons whose behavior or health status is known to present a danger to the center are not allowed at the operation 
    • Establish system to inform all center staff of the system for emergencies and how to contact the person on call in case of an emergency 
    • Work in tandem with the Director of Clinical Services, Innova Grace, Regional Director of Clinical Services, and Regional Director of Operations to provide the highest practicable quality of care for clients 
    • Ensure H.R. processes are followed 
    • Participate in training program and scheduling of employees 
    • Utilize E.M.R. system for quality assurance purposes 
    • Lead daily Flash meetings and lead/participate in other daily/weekly/monthly meetings 
    • Ensure smooth admissions process and work to achieve monthly census goals by providing exemplary care 
    • Ensure employees are familiar with The Joint Commission standards
    • Identify areas for improvement in group therapy programs and overall culture of the residential treatment center 
    • Identify areas where quality assurance improvement plans are needed; identify areas of concern, root causes, and action steps to resolve 
    • Maintain close communication with Regional Director of Operations 
    • Assist with coverage as needed (Clinical Case Manager, Nurse Manager, Lead House Chef, Chef, and other positions) 
    • Participate in on-call program 
    • Oversee culinary department and evaluate efficiency/quality/appropriate menu planning/cost control/proper food supply 
    • Budget compliance – track all expenses monthly and supply copies of receipts 
    • Monitor overtime and follow approval process
    • Work in collaboration with all disciplinary team members to coordinate every aspect of client care 
    • Maintain relationship with Psychiatrist and other providers
    • Understand electronic medical record and perform random audits as necessary for The Joint Commission compliance 
    • Assist the Regional Director of Operations/Executive Director with Plans of Correction (if needed) 
    • Other duties as assigned by the Regional Director of Operations

    Minimum Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; 3 – 5 years related experience (preferred)
