Disaster Recovery Manager manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption. Being an Disaster Recovery Manager monitors and tests the plans and back up systems. Manages the contracts with required vendors for off-site and other resources required for business continuation and recovery. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Manager develops and deploys training, documentation, and communication of disaster procedures to the organization. Develops service level recovery standards and agreements with vendors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Disaster Recovery Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Overview:
The Recovery Case Manager (RCM) will be expected to facilitate the client’s passage through the 12-Steps. Ideally, this will involve steps 1 thru 8. They will also assist clients with inventory instructions in step 4. RCM’s will also meet with their clients regularly on a one-on-one basis. The RCM is the primary contact for a client's family, loved ones, and referral sources. They are responsible for the planning and implementation of client’s aftercare. RCM’s also serve to assist clients with their outside needs (e.g. court hearings, application for unemployment benefits, FMLA).
