Disaster Recovery Manager manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption. Being an Disaster Recovery Manager monitors and tests the plans and back up systems. Manages the contracts with required vendors for off-site and other resources required for business continuation and recovery. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Manager develops and deploys training, documentation, and communication of disaster procedures to the organization. Develops service level recovery standards and agreements with vendors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Disaster Recovery Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Responsibilities:
The Business Office Manager works independently and collaboratively, liaising with Accounting, Finance, IT, and Recruiting departments to ensure information/system integrity, successful hiring, and training.
Other responsibilities include:
Ensure daily, weekly and monthly financial responsibilities are completed with detail, accuracy, completeness and timeliness:
Pay vendor invoices
Interact with in-house and 3rd parties to ensure charges are sent and processed
Collect payments from patients and deposit payments
Organize, and as needed facilitate, new hire orientations
Be the facility’s ambassador of our company culture
Coordinate regular performance reviews, reward and discipline as needed, address complaints, and resolve problems
Maintain personnel files, ensure everyone is up to date on certifications, licenses, etc., and respond to record requests
Serve as facility expert on IT systems
Backup our receptionist on the front desk, on the phone, etc. with great customer service
Be the backup “Manager on Call” periodically
Continuously improve systems and processes
Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential
Collaborate with others in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, and Human Resources departments
Work cooperatively with all levels of employees, management and external agencies
Do additional duties as assigned
Report directly to the Executive Director
Qualifications
AA degree or equivalent in HR, accounting or a related field
3 years of experience in HR
Competency with Microsoft Office Suite
Comfortable working with electronic health records
Experience with personnel management is preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication
Experience in behavioral healthcare is preferred
Personal passion or interest in substance abuse issues strongly preferred
Commitment to drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use is essential
Authorization to work in the US is required
Location: Norfolk, VA
Start Date: ASAP, 3/13/2024
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Compensation is $60,000 Benefits (Vision, Medical, Dental, Life, 401K, Paid Time Off, Family Leave).
