Disaster Recovery Manager manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption. Being an Disaster Recovery Manager monitors and tests the plans and back up systems. Manages the contracts with required vendors for off-site and other resources required for business continuation and recovery. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Manager develops and deploys training, documentation, and communication of disaster procedures to the organization. Develops service level recovery standards and agreements with vendors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Disaster Recovery Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Disaster Recovery Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. LPN Detox/Withdrawl Management

  • Surest Path Recovery Center in Bloomville Ohio is an inpatient substance abuse Withdrawal Management (a.k.a Detox) and residential treatment provider for Women.

    We are currently seeking a Full Time Midnight LPN to work in our inpatient detox unit from the hours of 6p-6a (3 days a week). This position will work rotating weekends and share of holiday rotation. This position is eligible for a $2,000 sign on bonus (1/2 paid at 90 days, the other 1/2 paid at 180 days) provided there is no discipline for calling off. This position is responsible for the medical management of all residential patients, including ensuring compliance with all established standards, policies and procedures. This individual must be awake, alert, and attentive to meet the significant needs of our patient population. Essential duties include but are not limited to:

    • Review files of any admissions from previous shift with attention to any medical issues, medical documentation, and ensure appropriate follow-up.
    • Complete vital signs on all patients as policy and prudent judgment indicates.
    • Observe, detect, and monitor symptoms of withdrawal, providing patient reassurance and support, ensuring appropriate follow-up and documentation in patient files and Shift Report. This will include observation for physiological withdrawal symptoms including seizures and convulsions.
    • Provide medications as indicated by completed eMAR's, and ensure appropriate documentation.
    • Document medical information appropriately in patient records and shift report according to established policies
    • Educate the patient about his/her condition and give accurate clinical reporting of patient conditions, status and proper clinical actions
    • Provide assistance to incoming shift, ensuring all pertinent medical information is given.
    • Review files of all patients discharged to ensure compliance with established protocols, medical policies and procedures, and files are appropriately documented.
    • Contact Medical Services Manager or Medical Director as appropriates for reviews of medications for approval, or other issues requiring medical consultation or direction.
    • Ensure appropriate referral services for patients/applicants to a hospital for necessary medical services, as prudently indicated.

    Requirements:

    • A current Ohio LPN license
    • 1-2 years experience preferred
    • Must have a working knowledge of Chemical Dependency; and a want to help others improve their lives.
