Disaster Recovery Manager manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption. Being an Disaster Recovery Manager monitors and tests the plans and back up systems. Manages the contracts with required vendors for off-site and other resources required for business continuation and recovery. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Manager develops and deploys training, documentation, and communication of disaster procedures to the organization. Develops service level recovery standards and agreements with vendors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Disaster Recovery Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Recovery Specialist Lead
Pay: $21/hr. DOE up to $1.50 shift differential (varies by shift)
Location: Douglas Place, East Grand Forks, MN 56721
2nd shift: 12:30 PM -11:00 PM
***As an RS Lead this position may require some weekends if open shifts are covered.***
Essential Duties and Competencies:
The following duties are routine for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
• Assist with daily activities of clients
• Lead and facilitate day-to-day activities, such as transportation
• Provide training for new staff
• To transport clients for admission, discharge, medical appointment, etc.
• To provide orientation to new clients and check in personal property.
• Will provide for the clients' safety by monitoring their whereabouts by making rounds, including all areas described in the Program Abuse Prevention Plan and overnight bed checks.
• Complete a DAANES report as directed.
• Interact with clients whenever possible.
• Attend shift change report meetings.
• Chart interaction with clients and observations made in the client's record.
• Attend staff meetings and In-service training.
• Distribute medications and other duties as directed and assigned by the Nurse Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Paraprofessionals may not admit, transfer, or discharge clients. They may be directed to follow through with the process of implementation of the above by the director or designee.
Skills, Knowledge, and Ability:
• Strong verbal skills and ability to communicate with a variety of people from diverse cultures and socioeconomic and educational backgrounds.
• Flexibility to meet a variety of changing priorities
• Computer skills to draft emails, memos, and reporting
Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Have the ability to work independently.
• TMA Certification
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• The ability to drive a vehicle continuously for up to three hours.
• The ability to lift and move objects weighing a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Must know and understand the implication of parts 9530.6405 to 9530.6505 (Rule 31) and Minnesota Statutes, chapter 245A (Human Services Licensing Act-HSLA), sections 626.556 (Maltreatment of Minors Act-MOMA), 626.557 (Vulnerable Act-VAA), and 626.5572 (VAA definitions).
• Minimum of one year of continuing freedom from chemical use problems.
• CPR and first aid certified.
• A minimum of two-year freedom from chemical abuse problems.
• Ongoing training on cultural awareness and demonstrating sensitivity to various cultural norms and values.
• CPR and first aid certified.
• Computer literate.
