Disaster Recovery Manager manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption. Being an Disaster Recovery Manager monitors and tests the plans and back up systems. Manages the contracts with required vendors for off-site and other resources required for business continuation and recovery. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Manager develops and deploys training, documentation, and communication of disaster procedures to the organization. Develops service level recovery standards and agreements with vendors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Disaster Recovery Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. We have several inpatient care facilities within the Pacific Northwest that offer long term recovery services, vocational training in our TC Resale & Donation centers, as well as evidence-based counseling services for inpatient and outpatient clients (Outpatient Life Renewal Program). We endeavor to "put hope within reach of every addict" by providing well rounded services and fostering a strong relationship with Christ. This position would be located at our Portland Metro Campus.
Duties & Responsibilities:
This position is determined to be a ministry staff position by role and function. Duties will include when necessary or directed: Leading prayer and Bible studies, discipling to students and others, conducting evangelistic or humanitarian outreaches, and teaching religious or non-religious instruction.
Examples of Principle Duties:
Experience and Training:
1. Graduation from a senior high school or GED certificate, and/or Teen Challenge Internship Program.
2. Demonstrated competency to effectively interact, work with and supervise students participating in the program.
3. Any satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training demonstrating competency in executing the duties and responsibilities for Pacific Northwest Adult and Teen Challenge.
Special Requirements:
1. A valid drivers license or ability to obtain one within 30 days.
2. Evening & Weekend availability required.
