Disaster Recovery Manager manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption. Being an Disaster Recovery Manager monitors and tests the plans and back up systems. Manages the contracts with required vendors for off-site and other resources required for business continuation and recovery. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Manager develops and deploys training, documentation, and communication of disaster procedures to the organization. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team. As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will play a vital role in helping individuals overcome addiction and achieve long-term recovery. Your primary responsibility will be to provide counseling and support to patients struggling with substance abuse disorders.
Overview: The Drug and Alcohol Counselor will advocate for and advise clients within their assigned caseload. They will develop, monitor, and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and clinical team members. A strong Case Manager will possess characteristics such as advanced interpersonal communication skills, empathy and compassion, ability to take on multiple tasks, and maintain a professional relationship with client and family members.
Accountability: CEO/ Program Director
Duties:
· Create and monitor individual treatment plans for clients.
· Conduct individual, group, family, and substance abuse therapy as needed.
· Be familiar with community resources.
· Understand 12-Step programs.
· Maintain current and accurate documentation/ records/ files in accordance with facility policies.
· Facilitate crisis and therapeutic interventions.
· Participated in staff and clinical team meetings.
· Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
· Adhere to policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, CADC, or Similar. Two years in the substance abuse field.
Must also be able to navigate through basic office setting, must be familiar with variety of office hardware (copy machine, computer, fax machine, etc.) and software (email tools, spreadsheets, and databases).
Must have valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or CADC or Similar, CPR and First Aid Certification required.
Physical Requirements: Will be required to sit for extended periods with intermittent standing and walking. May be required to ascend or descend stairs.
· Works closely with administrative and clinical team to ensure that clients are stable, comfortable, and progressing through their detox appropriately.
Qualifications:
Preferred- Certified Drug and Alcohol Counelor (CADC)
Minimum bachelor’s degree (required)
BLS Certificate
At least two years of Human Services/Healthcare related experience preferred.
Should be proficient in a variety of office software (email tools, spreadsheets, and databases) and hardware (copy, fax, computer, etc.)
