Disaster Recovery Director leads the development of a comprehensive business continuity strategy and programs, plans, and toolsets that support response, develop resiliency, and enable recovery from events that disrupt business operations. Establishes a framework and methodology to manage all business continuity life cycle activities, including risk assessment, business impact analysis, strategy development, implementation, testing and review, plan maintenance and updates. Being a Disaster Recovery Director leads periodic review, validation, and workflow testing of documented business continuity plans. Develops and implements organization-wide training and communications. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Director supports internal audits and regulatory exams of compliance with required regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May require the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar BCP certification. Typically reports to top management. The Disaster Recovery Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Disaster Recovery Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Performs initial and ongoing bio-psychosocial assessments according to accepted standards of nursing practice.
    • Develops a nursing plan of care consistent with the master treatment plan.
    • Participates in treatment team conferences to assist in planning and revising goals, objectives, and interventions appropriate to each patient's age-related and problem-specific needs.
    • Implements nursing plan of care for assigned patients and conducts and co-leads group therapy sessions for patients.
    • Evaluates the patient's response to interventions and revise the nursing plan of care as needed.
    • Collaborates with the treatment team to revise goals, objectives, and interventions appropriate to the changes in patient status.


    Required Skills/Abilities:


    • The scope of the job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.


    Education and Experience:


    • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (GN) obtained before the start date or job transfer date is required-OR-Temporary or a Current Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of practice is required or must be obtained before hire or job transfer date or current home state license for multi-state license recognition through the Nurse Licensure Compact is required or must be obtained before hire or job transfer date.
