Disaster Recovery Director leads the development of a comprehensive business continuity strategy and programs, plans, and toolsets that support response, develop resiliency, and enable recovery from events that disrupt business operations. Establishes a framework and methodology to manage all business continuity life cycle activities, including risk assessment, business impact analysis, strategy development, implementation, testing and review, plan maintenance and updates. Being a Disaster Recovery Director leads periodic review, validation, and workflow testing of documented business continuity plans. Develops and implements organization-wide training and communications. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Director supports internal audits and regulatory exams of compliance with required regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May require the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar BCP certification. Typically reports to top management. The Disaster Recovery Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Disaster Recovery Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • The Indiana Center for Recovery - Bloomington is looking to hire an Assistant Director of Nursing.

    We are looking for an attentive and knowledgeable assistant director of nursing (ADON) who will assist in ensuring the nursing department provides consistent, attentive, and efficient care to patients. The ADON is responsible for monitoring nursing staff, nursing activities, and patient care, as well as ensuring nursing activities are in compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

    A successful ADON is responsible, attentive, knowledgeable, and provides high-quality care to patients. You should provide support to nursing staff and the director of nursing, and thoughtful care to patients.

    Assistant Director of Nursing Responsibilities:

    • Helping to hire, train, teach, and monitor nurses.
    • Managing clinical operations and developing care plans.
    • Preparing the daily schedule and planning shifts.
    • Ensuring nursing staff follows departmental procedures and policies.
    • Conducting patient rounds and addressing complaints.
    • Evaluating the performance of the department and recommending improvements.
    • Scheduling staff meetings for patient updates, issues, and recommendations.
    • Ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local standards.
    • Keeping patient and employee records updated and accurate.
    • Provides a safe and therapeutic environment to all staff and patients.
    • Performs other tasked, as assigned.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Valid RN License in the State of Indiana
    • Master's/Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
    • A minimum of 2 years management experience in the related field
    • Good critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
    • Good planning and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge of computers and healthcare software.
    • The ability to work under stressful conditions.
    • CPR Certified

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
