Disaster Recovery Analyst implements and supports the policies, procedures, and programs that ensure the recovery, security, and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology in the event of a disruption or unanticipated disaster. Performs risk management analysis and documents disaster recovery plans. Being an Disaster Recovery Analyst identifies and secures the necessary off-site resources required for the organization's resumption plan. Develops and executes testing processes to validate the disaster recovery plans and identify the plans' weaknesses and failure points. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Analyst confirms all action plans are documented, communicated, and understood by all stakeholders in the organization. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Disaster Recovery Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.   • The starting wage is $16.85 per hour from 7am-3pm, $0.35 from 3pm-11pm and $2.10 from 11pm-7am.


    Education:  Minimum: High school diploma, some college preferred 


    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Maintains the therapeutic atmosphere by upholding policies and procedures to assure order, safety, and day to day routines appropriate to adult clients with substance abuse disorders or co-occurring disorders.  They ensure continuity for the efforts of the treatment staff between the daytime and evening hours, and between the weekday and weekend hours. This person coordinates various aspects of the clients’ treatment needs including orientation and assisting with admissions and discharges.  This person applies basic counseling and case management skills for helping clients achieve their treatment goals. May assist with daily living activities, lead clients in educational and recreational activities, or accompany clients to and from medical examinations and treatments.  This person may work with nursing or other clinical staff to complete assessments, which may include monitoring of vital signs, administering medications, and charting.  Coordinate program services and provide direct back-up assistance to program leadership, operations, and clients in need.


    • Conduct regular program rounds to ensure the whereabouts of clients and/or to monitor the safety of agency programs.
    • Help with admitting, discharging, and de-escalating clients as necessary.
    • Perform and oversee emergency drills scheduled each month, supervise evacuation and safety drill paperwork.
    • Assure that clients understand their rights and responsibilities and that they have thorough orientation to treatment milieu schedule, rules, guidelines, confidentiality, and releases of information, etc. and adherence to program procedures/policies.
    • Complete intra-office and program mailings and inventory deliveries, as well as stock inventories and coordination
    • Write client progress notes when required; assist counselors and nurses with filing progress notes and other treatment documents into active client charts, as well as communicate any program/client needs with leadership and 24/7-hour staff.
    • Continue intake and orientation procedure started by the Admissions Coordinator with all new clients.
    • Assist clients with developing treatment plans and identifying resources to overcome barriers to successful completion of treatment.
    • Assist in house meetings, educational groups, and solution solving when requested.
    • Perform random breathalyzers and urine screens.
    • Coordinate with counselor or nurse to assist clients with daily living needs including clothing, medical, and other case management needs.
    • Transport clients to any necessary appointments or meetings when necessary
    • Enforce all rules regarding passes and visitors.
    • Maintain confidentiality of all clients at all times
    • Role model of good therapeutic boundaries and ethical behavior to clients
    • Participate and help coordinate special activities for clients to help them develop pro-social activities.
    • May oversee client performance of chores and ensure the sanitary and cleanliness conditions of the unit are met on every shift.
    • Monitor the functioning of equipment in the unit including vehicle maintenance and safety.  Submit maintenance requests for repairs as necessary.


    CHILD CARE RESPONSIBILITIES:


    • Children up to 10 years of age will be allowed to reside at the facility with their mother
    • Care for the children of clients currently receiving treatment at Phoenix, this may include babies
    • Bathing, changing, feeding, playing, watching, and general care of the children
    • Transportation of children to and from school, to and from doctor's appointments, and to and from therapy sessions (Please note that car seats will be provided)
    • Assisting, observing and documenting all medication administration to all infants and children
    • Daily documentation of all children's activities and behaviors


    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and ability to traverse stairs.


    SKILLS NEEDED/EXPERIENCE:


    • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Must possess excellent decision making and critical thinking skills as member of team.
    • Knowledge of recovery and various addiction treatment models
    • Proficient computer and word processing skills
    • Strong crisis intervention skills to effectively deescalate and problem-solve to promote safety and stability.
    • Awareness of how to maintain appropriate boundaries in the therapeutic relationship.
    • Ability to build rapport with clients and communicate a supportive, non-judgmental attitude.


    REQUIRED TRAININGS/CERTIFICATIONS (training offered upon hire)

    • Bloodborne Pathogens
    • Communicable Disease


    LICENSES/CREDENTIALS 


    • Valid driver’s license and good driving record. A chauffeur license is mandatory upon hire.
    • MCBAP Certified or Development Plan with MCBAP preferred.
