Disaster Recovery Analyst implements and supports the policies, procedures, and programs that ensure the recovery, security, and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology in the event of a disruption or unanticipated disaster. Performs risk management analysis and documents disaster recovery plans. Being an Disaster Recovery Analyst identifies and secures the necessary off-site resources required for the organization's resumption plan. Develops and executes testing processes to validate the disaster recovery plans and identify the plans' weaknesses and failure points. Heartland Recovery is a licensed Residential Addiction Recovery facility located at 212 Church Street in Chataignier, Evangeline Parish, Louisiana. We specialize in helping individuals recover from drug and alcohol addiction through evidence-based practices, with a focus on providing a safe and supportive environment for our clients.
Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with substance use disorder and developmental disabilities.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Monitor and document patient behaviors, progress, and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Utilize crisis management techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
Experience:
- Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders or developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Understanding of social work principles and practices.
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in crisis management strategies and techniques.
- Ability to take accurate vital signs and monitor patient health status.
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with behavioral health interventions and treatment modalities.
- Experience in addiction counseling or substance abuse treatment is beneficial.
