Disaster Recovery Administrator implements and supports the policies, procedures, and programs that ensure the recovery, security, and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology in the event of a disruption or unanticipated disaster. Performs risk management analysis and documents disaster recovery plans. Being an Disaster Recovery Administrator identifies and secures the necessary off-site resources required for the organization's resumption plan. Develops and executes testing processes to validate the disaster recovery plans and identify the plans' weaknesses and failure points. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Administrator confirms all action plans are documented, communicated, and understood by all stakeholders in the organization. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Disaster Recovery Administrator work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     • Responsible for leading, coordinating all aspects of the project
    • Ensures that all work is being completed correctly and in a timely manner
    • Monitors how projects are progressing
    • Reports the details to the Government
    • Overall responsibility for managing established scope and budget for capital projects assuring these assigned project managers and guided and mentored throughout the project
    • Ensures communication between members of a multi-disciplinary project management teams both client and project staff
    • Oversees consultants and contractors involved in capital projects and facilitates strong communication and coordination between these entities
    • Communicates and coordinates project status with staff from affected federal, state, regional and local agencies
    • Regularly communicates project status, milestones and issues with leadership
    • Develops and oversees regular preparation of project status reports
    • Ensures project compliance with all federal, state and local laws, regulations, codes and standards. Familiarity with FEMA-PA,IA,HMGP and HUD-CDBG-DR Projects required
    • First level lead for all consultant and sub-consultant team
    • Responsible for development of staffing plans related to contract

    • Must also have a minimum of 10 years of experience performing program management functions related with Disaster Recovery in the US to include experience previous experience as a Project Manager on multiple projects
    • Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business or a related technical field
    • Must have high-level management and leadership skills
    • Ability to both lead and function as a member of a team
    • Should have excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Must have attention to detail, great organizational skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
    • Must have conflict resolution and problem-solving skills to include risk management
    • Must have cost control and budgeting skills
    • Must have teamwork and motivational skills
    • Travel involved

    The salary range for this position is $170,000-$210,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
