Disaster Recovery Administrator implements and supports the policies, procedures, and programs that ensure the recovery, security, and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology in the event of a disruption or unanticipated disaster. Performs risk management analysis and documents disaster recovery plans. Being an Disaster Recovery Administrator identifies and secures the necessary off-site resources required for the organization's resumption plan. Develops and executes testing processes to validate the disaster recovery plans and identify the plans' weaknesses and failure points. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Administrator confirms all action plans are documented, communicated, and understood by all stakeholders in the organization. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Disaster Recovery Administrator work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.   • Business Unit Risk Analyst Lead- Disaster Recovery Specialist
    The Disaster Recovery Specialist role will provide comprehensive support for Technology Systems Disaster Recovery planning, integration, growth, and testing. This role is required to maintain IS DR readiness, integrate Technology's on-going compliance with Comerica's DR Program, manage the Disaster Recovery Program Exercises or when a Technology Disruptive Event is declared, oversee the technology recovery efforts via the DR Command & Control Structure

    Position Responsibilities:

    Control Testing

    • Lead management and oversight of all regulatory and audit inquiries.
    • Responsible for the coordination and preparation of audit and exam deliverables.
    • Ensure key regulatory and control timelines and required processes and evidence (documents) are tested.
    • Ensure compliance and control findings are reported to management of affected areas.
    • Perform risk analysis to determine level of risk to the bank and recommend action(s) to mitigate risk.
    • Develop and implement new compliance programs to address regulatory changes.

    Policies, Processes, and Procedures

    • Monitor and interpret policy and procedures for assigned line of business and update as required.
    • Recommend ways to reduce turn times while balancing operational risk.
    • Analyze and make recommendations on department policies, processes and procedures.
    • Partners with the business unit(s) to ensures all processes and procedures follow policies and federal regulations.
    • Participate in Committees and Special Projects as warranted.
    • Management of and/or participation in large to complex sized projects related to risk and compliance.
    • Work collaboratively with business units and others on the implementation of new regulations.

    Training and Reporting

    • Educate and train business unit on risks that affect them.
    • Ensure compliance training requirements are properly communicated and completed.

    Position Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of Technology or Risk experience
    • 5 years of experience with financial, regulatory, and audit issues
    • 5 years of experience developing and implementing internal controls, policies, and procedures
    • 6 years of experience leading large projects
    • 4 years of experience in Business Continuity positions
    • This position is not eligible for sponsorship. Must have indefinite employment authorization.
