Disaster Recovery Administrator implements and supports the policies, procedures, and programs that ensure the recovery, security, and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology in the event of a disruption or unanticipated disaster. Performs risk management analysis and documents disaster recovery plans. Being an Disaster Recovery Administrator identifies and secures the necessary off-site resources required for the organization's resumption plan. Develops and executes testing processes to validate the disaster recovery plans and identify the plans' weaknesses and failure points. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Administrator confirms all action plans are documented, communicated, and understood by all stakeholders in the organization. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Disaster Recovery Administrator work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     Responsibilities:

    • Perform labor intensive tasks such as production procedures and demolition
    • Preparing and loading equipment, products, and supplies needed for each job site
    • Prepare rooms/areas for services such as water extraction, fire clean-up, contents inventory then performs end-of-day clean up and breakdown.
    • Restoration experience and IIRC certifications are a plus


    Requirements:

    • Provide excellent customer service
    • Dependable and professional
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
    • Ability to pass pre-employment clearances – criminal background check and drug test
    • Willing to be on call on a rotational basis


    Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: This position involves application of cleaning solutions and exposure to moderate noise levels when operating restoration equipment. Performing the physical activities of this position require considerable use of whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of equipment. Position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently. You also need to be able to work in high places and in confined or tight spaces. You must be capable of working in water and/or fire damage environment.
