Are you thinking about a change from the daily grind of clinical medicine? If so, disability medicine may be right for you. This is a non-clinical, low stress field with HIGH demand. You'd be seeing veterans to evaluate them for disability benefits under the umbrella of an established, multi-specialty group.
This is a direct hire: we are a group of providers and not a staffing agency. You'd be performing VA-specific general medical evaluations for a variety of ailments such as musculoskeletal disorders, diabetes, hypertension, and skin conditions to name a few. Reports are submitted online through your personal portal access.
There is:
NO treatment or prescribing medications
NO on-call
NO administrative hassles (we pay you directly as an independent contractor)
Providers set their own hours and are compensated per case submitted. Potential to bill $800 per day. Active medical license is required. Training and credentialing is provided.
