Your Role:
The Director of Quality and Safety will lead agency-wide efforts to implement a comprehensive quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) plan, improve patient safety and patient experience, coordinate infection prevention activities, and manage accreditation and regulatory compliance. Working closely with the organization’s senior leadership team, the Director of Quality and Safety will have primary responsibility for implementing and monitoring compliance with the agency’s QAPI plan. The Director will facilitate agency-wide efforts to provide services consistent with evidence-based clinical guidelines and industry best practices, support efforts to reduce medical errors and eliminate preventable harm, lead efforts to measure and improve patient experience and help design efficient systems for responding to patient complaints and grievances, coordinate infection prevention and control activities, manage activities related to accreditation and regulatory compliance, and help the organization achieve quality and safety related annual goals and objectives. Other responsibilities include providing analysis and input for strategic planning and goal setting as needed and serving as a subject matter expert and resource for managers and staff.
